Terms and Conditions for BizTalk.Social Marketplace Merchants
Membership Requirement
- Merchants must be paid subscribing members of BizTalk.Social.
- The email used for BizTalk.Social registration must be the same as the one used for Merchant registration in BizTalk.Social Marketplace.
Verification
- Merchants must be verified as legitimate online and/or real-world sole proprietors or legal business entities in their respective territories.
- Verification is subject to BizTalk.Social Marketplace’s required criteria.
- A profile picture must be uploaded through Gravatar
Commission Structure
- A 20% commission will be charged on each transaction completed through The Marketplace.
Financial Security
- Merchants are required to maintain a reserve or provide a withdrawal reversal for an amount equal to the average product sold in their store.
Prohibited Industries and Items
- The following are strictly prohibited: adult industry, blockchain, digital currency, MLM, illegal activities or items, paid investment strategies, or any other items or industries deemed to misalign with BizTalk.Social’s persona, values, or ethics.
Platform Rules and Policies
- Merchants agree to comply with all BizTalk.Social Marketplace rules, policies, and guidelines, which may be updated from time to time.
Product Listings
- All product listings must be accurate, complete, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- All product listings must include terms and conditions in addition to exchange and return policies.
Customer Service
- Merchants are responsible for providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues related to their products or transactions.
Intellectual Property
- Merchants must respect intellectual property rights and only sell products they have the right to sell.
Termination
BizTalk.Social reserves the right to terminate or suspend any merchant account that violates these terms or engages in fraudulent activity.
Liability
BizTalk.Social is not liable for any losses or damages incurred by merchants in the course of their business activities on the platform.
Data Protection
Merchants agree to handle customer data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and BizTalk.Social’s privacy policy.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between merchants and BizTalk.Social will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States of America.
BizTalk.Social reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with notice provided to merchants.
By registering as a merchant on BizTalk.Social Marketplace, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your merchant account.
Inside your BizTalk.Social Account in the top drop-down menu click Account Settings then follow the steps to becoming a subscribing community member. If you are already a subscriber, your items will be listed in the Marketplace within five (5) business days after the verification of your vendor profile information.
